Contact Your Elected Officials
Even though the session has not yet begun, we are starting now the process of urging our state legislators to reject the currently proposed legislation (SB7 & HB 25) as wastes of taxpayer money and obvious political stunts manufactured with the intent of frightening parents about a problem that simply does not exist.
If you would like to get involved, download the letter below and send it to your own state Senator and Representatives. Our elected officials must understand that Louisiana citizens trust our public librarians to make good decisions with regard to library collections, and we trust ourselves as parents to make the best decisions for ourselves and our families.
